A message to the young.

This is a message to the young. This way things have been is not the way they ought to be. Our American society is plagued with the curse of individualism, from an early age we are taught that we are alone. Placed into a rat race, taught to compete with our own. This truly is not the way things have to be, we need each other

You see, we are touched by hate from the moment we are born. It consumes us and in your mind it creates a home. It creates your ego, a false illusion of self. All of the “isms” in this world, will leave you tortured and confused. Misguided and abused. Self hatred will be the death of you. This ego, that is composed by self hate, likes to be fed. It's the only way it’s satisfied. This ego is deathly afraid of love. It keeps us trapped into cycles that so many of us are eager and desperate to escape. But as long as this ego is never acknowledge, there is no escape. Because the truth is, no matter how much the ego will sit and try to make it seem like it's you. It's not, you are so much greater than what others have used to define you.

I am muslim, so I have no other choice but talk from the perspective of my faith. I’m not here to impose my belief, but simply to be a source of inspiration unto you. The same God that created the wonders of this earth and all that is within the universe, is the same God that created you. So why would you limit yourself? Why would you choose to live in a world consumed by hate? Life is a blessing from the Most High, bask in it and give thanks. For it is only a passing. A momentary state. The only way we as a people can liberate is by becoming the very thing others hate: love. Love conquers all, the only thing that can pierce the soul of man. Love is God’s most powerful weapon, so use it, it is His guiding hand.

America is a land founded on hate. Slavery, genocide, and war are the only things that keep operate this state. Since the start of this pandemic, everyone I know, myself included, has been in an anxious mental state, questioning the future of the world. Everyone has almost unanimously agreed that things are only going to get worse. We can all feel it coming. But to sit and be nihilistic, is the worst thing we can do. The future is ours, we have all the power to do anything we choose, so choose love. This has to start with you. When you learn to start to love yourself do not be fooled by the ego’s self preserving tricks. When you love yourself, loving others comes naturally. When we do good, we feel good. So be the blessing you wish for. Be love, be God’s Will.

So let's tear hate down and in its place, build something anew.
