The Pitfall of so-called Progressives

My issue with many so-called progressives is their insistence on electioneering. They propose that if given enough time we can elect enough AOC types into public office and then we implement some form of watered down socialism that still works at the behest of corporate interest. This comes from a naïve understanding of American politics, which fails to see that it is corrupt even at the most local levels of governance. I let my political ideology be known, I don’t attempt to sugar code my perspective. The only solution to the many problems faced by a mass of the people is through revolting against the ruling class, the destruction of corrupt, bureaucratic institutions and the nationalization of key industries under the control of the people. This is clear, the experiment of attempting social democracy is a failure. The so-called “Squad” is composed of sellouts, only there to give hope to a naïve few that change is possible. The two party duopoly controls every key political institution down to the most minute level of governance, including institutions such as police review boards. It is nigh impossible for a third party to successfully counter this or form itself as a legitimate counterbalance to this rule. The process of doing so will take years, we do not have years, people are dying and miserable today because of the continual failures of this economic system that seeks more and more profit at the expense of human dignity. It is about time, we see the political class for who they truly are, oligarchs. They are not our friends, they are not here to fight for us, they are there to rule and cash in their checks from their corporate overlords. Down with them both. The quicker we are able to see that all the problems faced in our personal lives are an amalgamation of failed economic policy and cultural barbarism, the quicker we can realize that no bottle of liquor, no ounce of weed, no weekend clubbing, no amount of prayer alone, will solve our problems; only we can, by liberating ourselves and our oppressors. We do this by putting the vices down and putting in the work to take to the streets, occupy government offices, amazon warehouse centers and establish organized supply lines to sustain these efforts. We cannot wait for the revolution, we have to be the revolution we want to see, imagine a future that we want to raise the youth in. We continue down this road, we continue down the road to misery, this is not the way life has to be. Take power into our own hands, and down with the state, in its ashes we will erect a new one, a better one, a more just one, or no one at all. If not, we are continuing to be doomed down a path where we live at the behest of tv reality show hosts and suburbanites who have never known a thing about working for their eats a day in their lives.

If you are not working for the liberation of your people, then you are working against them. All power to all the people and praise be to God.
